Open position : Sales representative, Forestry sector

IDCAM designs and manufactures automation equipment and solutions for the forestry and sawmill industries. To support its growth, the company is seeking a sales representative with in-depth knowledge of the industry to develop relationships with mills in Quebec and the United States.

Reporting to senior management, you will manage the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to closing contracts—in close collaboration with the engineering and project management teams.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain a client portfolio in the sawmilling and wood processing industry.
Analyze clients’ needs at their facilities and define appropriate solutions in collaboration with the engineering team.
Prepare and present proposals, negotiate, and close sales.
Follow up with accounts until the equipment is commissioned.
Represent IDCAM at trade shows and industry events.

What We’re Looking For:

Education

College or university degree in a technical field (mechanical engineering, industrial processes, forestry, or a related field), or equivalent experience.

Experience

At least 5 years of sales experience in the forestry or sawmill industry (a major asset).
Good knowledge of sawmill processes and equipment.
An established network of industry contacts is a significant asset.

Skills and Qualities

Bilingual in French and English.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to work independently, strong organizational skills, and a results-oriented mindset.
Willingness to travel frequently; valid driver’s license and passport.

IDCAM designs and manufactures automation equipment, automated production lines, and robotic solutions for a variety of industries. To expand its expertise into new sectors, the company is seeking an experienced sales representative.

Reporting to senior management, you will identify new business opportunities and support clients from the analysis of their needs through to the delivery of solutions.

Responsibilities:

Identify and develop new clients in the manufacturing and industrial sectors.
Analyze clients’ automation needs and develop solutions in collaboration with the engineering team.
Prepare and present technical proposals, negotiate, and close sales.
Monitor projects and maintain long-term business relationships.
Monitor the market and trends in industrial robotics.

What we're looking for:

Education

Experience

Strong technical expertise in industrial robots, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), vision systems, conveyors, and systems integration.

Open position : Senior Designer

Are you passionate about mechanics, technical drawing, and the challenges of industrial automation? We want to meet you.

What we're looking for:

Technician or engineering degree (mechanical or related engineering)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor (an asset), Excel, and Word
Experience in sawmills? A definite asset.
Rigour, curiosity, and a passion for quality work

Open position : Project Director & Site Management

Reporting to the General Management/Operations Department, you will manage the entire lifecycle of large-scale industrial projects, from the initial studies to final acceptance of the completed works.

What we're looking for:

Education

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Specialization in project management (PMP, PMI, Prince2) is an asset.

Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in managing large-scale industrial projects (plant construction, industrial platforms).
Proven experience in managing multi-trade construction sites

Technical Skills

Proficiency in planning tools (MS Project).
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Proficiency in budget tracking and cost control methods.
Bilingualism (French and English).

Personal Qualities

Strong leadership and ability to unite multidisciplinary teams.
Rigorous, organized, and able to prioritize.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Responsive and able to make decisions under pressure.
